Kathy Bostock’s personal mission is to inform as many educators as possible about best practices for teaching reading. She is a Dyslexia Specialist through IDA and Fairleigh Dickinson University, an Orton-Gillingham Therapy trainer, a LETRS trainer, and a credentialed Wilson® Dyslexia Therapist and Wilson® Credentialed Trainer. She has educated students and teachers for over 30 years throughout the United States on the topics of Dyslexia, Reading Research, Structured Literacy, and Advocacy. Kathy is a member of the New Jersey Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and has served as vice president for two consecutive terms. She has also received multiple awards: Outstanding Achievement Award from NJIDA, and the J. Phillip Berquist Award of Outstanding an Achievement in Dyslexia and Dyslexia Achievement Award from the Childrens’ Dyslexia Centers of New Jersey.
Kathy spent 22 years as the Director of the Children’s Dyslexia Center in Burlington, NJ, providing comprehensive Orton-Gillingham training and certification courses for Fairleigh Dickinson University. In addition, she has been an adjunct professor for the Graduate School of Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Since 2003, Kathy has continued her mission to inform teachers about Structured Literacy and Wilson® programs, as a presenter and trainer for the Robinowitz Education Center. Kathy is also the Director of Education at The Newgrange School of the Laurel Education Group in Pennington, New Jersey.
